The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare secured funding at last Monday's Pitch Pledge Party Event for the promotion of retrofitting heat exchangers to kidney dialysis machines throughout the UK to achieve a 20% carbon cut in their emissions. We would like to say a big thank you to the funders,10:10, The Funding Network, The Guardian and all others who have supported us.

carbon footprinting study published this month compares in-centre and home haemodialysis and highlights that the frequency of treatments has a big impact on carbon emissions. Curbing emissions will require the development of lower carbon technologies, sustainable procurement policies and efficient waste management. Read the full article here
