Organised by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Children’s Health, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Midwives

The RCOG, RCPCH and RCM are actively committed to upholding the principles of the Climate and Health Council and are organising an event on 12 March 2010 to discuss the impact of Climate Change on maternal and child health in the developed and the developing world. Of the public sector in the UK, the NHS contributes to nearly 25% of carbon emissions; therefore the ways and means of reducing this will also be addressed.

A panel of international speakers from Cape Town, Geneva, Hyderabad and London will discuss the issues via video conference.
